Kirby Fann

Kirby graduated as Valedictorian of her class with an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice, but she quickly discovered that her career path would take a few unexpected turns. She first began her project management career with SMG in 2016, where she developed a passion for bringing together creative ideas, technical solutions, and the people needed to make them happen. In 2017, Kirby relocated to Northern California to be closer to her family. There, she spent four years working as a Forest Ranger and Chainsaw Operator for the Forest Service before making the leap back into project management. Nearly six years later, Kirby found her way back to SMG and this amazing team!

Today, Kirby serves as the Web Development Project Manager, overseeing website projects from concept to completion and helping keep designers, developers, and clients moving in the same direction. Her ability to bridge the gap between creative vision and technical execution, combined with her insightful knowledge of company procedures and client needs, has consistently made her a valuable resource to both the team and its clients.

When she isn’t juggling the wonderful world of project management, web development, and the occasional website emergency, you can find Kirby frolicking in the outdoors, riding motorcycles with her husband, or at her workbench practicing her silversmithing techniques.

She fancies herself a bit of a “jack of all trades.” Whether you need a gorgeous new website brought to life, a complicated web project wrangled into submission, or a hazardous tree removed, Kirby has you covered!
